Art Month Sydney is a new month-long festival that celebrates the vibrancy and diversity of Sydney's thriving visual arts scene.

Art Month Sydney ran from 1–31 March 2010, uniting the various elements of the city's art world under one umbrella for the first time. A diverse cross-section of art showcased more than 70 of Sydney's leading commercial galleries, artist-run initiatives, public art museums and auction houses hosting exhibitions, talks, behind-the-scenes tours and special events across the city.

Darren Knight Gallery

Darren Knight Gallery opened in Melbourne in September 1992 and relocated to Sydney in February 1997. The gallery is located on the corner of Elizabeth and Short Street, between the Sydney airport and the CBD.

Liverpool Street Gallery
Venues

Established in September 2003, Liverpool Street Gallery is a commercial gallery, exhibiting Australian and International contemporary art.

MOP is an artist-run-initiative gallery open since 2003.  This artist run initiative is one of many in Sydney. Match Box Projects has created the Sydney ARI Guide, a map and web guide to bring focus to Sydney’s artist run initiatives.
